What We Work On

The problem is rarely
where it appears.

Parraghy Advisory was founded to help organizations become and remain innovative and ambidextrous — structurally capable of adapting to shifting conditions without losing strategic coherence.

Most problems organizations experience stem from the assumptions underlying the choices behind the principles and mechanisms used to design the organization. By their nature, those problems cannot be solved through execution.

Parraghy Advisory's work is grounded in systems and organizational science, applied to organizations across industries, growth stages, markets, and business models. Current mandates span satellite manufacturing, international trade and logistics, blue biotech, additive manufacturing, and a holding company with ventures spanning applied business research, advanced technology implementation, AI/agentic-driven automation, and more — reflecting a breadth of exposure across sectors and scales that the methodology is built to address.

Organizational Decision-Making Structures
The operationalization of decision-making within an organization — covering who holds decision-making authority and within what boundaries, who is responsible and accountable for outcomes, how decisions are justified and documented, and how the organization learns from past decisions and adapts to change.
Governance Design
Governance exists to surface information, make decisions traceable and correctable, hold people accountable to outcomes, and enable organizations to learn from mistakes — not as a formality, but as the structural condition that determines whether sound decisions are possible consistently, especially under uncertainty.
Investment & Venture Assessment
Evaluating the assumptions underlying an investment thesis and the governance maturity of a target — from both sides of the table. Parraghy Advisory's principal has operated as an entrepreneur, deployed capital as an investor, and currently serves on the boards of five companies across multiple sectors.

How We Work

Understanding the system
before reasoning about what could change.

01
Understand what the system produces
Every organization is a system with a logic of its own. The first step is to understand the nature of that system — what behaviors it implicitly incentivizes through its processes, how information and communication actually flow, how power is formed and codified, and what the interactions within and outside the organization reveal about its underlying structure. This is an attempt to understand what behavior the system is genuinely producing, and why.
02
Read the relational and political reality
Organizational behavior cannot be understood from a purely structural or technical perspective. Viewing the organization through a relational and political lens — who holds influence and how, where alignment breaks down, what the informal dynamics are between people and functions — is essential to understanding why the system behaves as it does, and what any proposed change would actually encounter.
03
Reason about what could change
Once the current behavior is understood and the desired behavior is clear, the work shifts to what structural or governance changes could plausibly produce different outcomes. This means providing concrete insights into the available options — what each would require, what it would make easier, what it would make harder, and what the trade-offs are. All decisions and their implementation remain with the partner.
What Others Say

Sound judgment, strategic depth.

I have had the privilege of working closely with Daniel as both where he served as an advisor/confidante and a board member of Chambers Capital Ventures, Inc. Daniel represents the highest standard of strategic integrity, intellectual dexterity, and scientific leadership.

Daniel brings rational judgment, analytical clarity, and decisiveness that have become indispensable at the board level, as we balance long-term thinking amid uncertainty. His ability to quickly understand complex business, financial, and strategic dynamics allows him to contribute to tactical decisions and the trajectory of an organization. He has a deep respect for the responsibilities of governance.

Daniel is a true confidante. He is someone I trust to engage with the most difficult questions. His counsel is candid, measured, and always anchored in what is best for the organization over the long term. He has an exceptional ability to challenge assumptions without ego, offering perspectives that expand intellectual boundaries and elevate outcomes.

As a board member, Daniel operates with discipline and accountability. He understands the balance between oversight and empowerment, providing guidance without overreach and support without dependency. He consistently demonstrates a strong grasp of organizational stewardship and the human dynamics that ultimately determine whether strategies succeed or fail.

His presence strengthens decision-making, reinforces trust, and brings stability in moments where clarity matters most.

I recommend Daniel for board roles, advisory positions, and senior leadership environments that demand sound judgment, discretion, and strategic depth. Organizations will benefit not only from his expertise, but from the steadiness and integrity he brings to every engagement.

Who We Work With

Advisory across industries,
growth stages, and structures.

Institutional Investors
PE and VC firms assessing investments, evaluating governance maturity of targets, or seeking an external perspective on assumption risks within a live investment case.
Boards of Directors
Boards of private and public companies seeking to assess, design, or strengthen governance structures — particularly those preparing for institutional investment, M&A, or major organizational transitions.
C-Suite Executives
Founders, CEOs, and senior executives of scaling organizations where recurring strategic friction, slow decision-making, or growing misalignment signal a structural problem rather than an execution problem.
Scaling Businesses
Organizations at the inflection point where structures that worked at a smaller scale are becoming constraints — and where incrementally improving execution is no longer solving the problem.
Multi-Entity Structures
Holding companies, family offices, and multi-unit organizations where decision-making complexity across entities creates governance challenges that single-entity frameworks cannot address.
Organizations in Transition
Companies undergoing M&A, integration, transformation, or leadership transition — where structural clarity about decision-making authority and governance is most consequential and most often neglected.
FAQ

Common questions about
how engagements work.

What is the difference between a Strategic Advisory Session and a Structural Diagnostic?
The Strategic Advisory Session is designed for a specific decision or question — an investment case, a governance issue, a consequential decision that is stalled. The Structural Diagnostic is a deeper assessment of an organization's decision-making systems and governance design, serving either as a standalone engagement or as the entry point into a longer mandate.
How do Advisory Mandates work in practice?
Advisory Mandates are structured around what the engagement actually requires — not a fixed number of hours or a standard retainer format. The scope, access model, and rhythm are negotiated individually. The minimum commitment is 12 months, with flexible payment structures.
Do you work with organizations outside Switzerland?
Yes. Parraghy Advisory is based in Switzerland and works with private and public organizations internationally, across all growth stages. All engagements are conducted remotely. Should Daniel ever be traveling to a location where a partner is based, it is at his sole discretion whether he reaches out to visit their offices or facilities.
Do you sign NDAs?
All engagements are treated as confidential by default — with or without a signed NDA. Parraghy Advisory has publicly declared that every engagement relationship is handled as NDA-bound regardless of whether a formal agreement is in place. Under Swiss law, even without a signed contract, an agreement can become legally binding if both parties conduct themselves as though it applies. Because Parraghy Advisory behaves accordingly from the outset, this public declaration makes confidentiality enforceable in practice. Where a partner requires a formal NDA in addition, this is arranged before any substantive work begins.
How does the Structural Diagnostic relate to a longer engagement?
The €15,000 Structural Diagnostic fee functions as full payment for a standard diagnostic, or as a non-refundable deposit applied toward the annual fee of a longer advisory mandate — creating a transparent and natural transition without starting from zero.
What types of organizations does Parraghy Advisory typically work with?
Institutional investors, boards, and c-suites of private and public organizations — from PE and VC firms to scaling businesses, holding companies, and organizations undergoing transformation, M&A, or strategic redesign.
